Job Description
Catering and Convention Services ManagerHawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki and Golf Club is looking for a Catering and Convention Services Manager. Primary responsibilities include meet with clients to determine details and write proposals for the functions or events booked at the hotel; ensure pricing structure is in line with cost effectiveness and meet the client or group's needs; timely response to inquires from clients or potential clients; upsell services and food and beverage; and ensure group or function charges are properly billed. In addition, complete all required forms and distribute to the appropriate departments, attend function meetings and oversee set-up and function to assure client satisfaction.
Must have three years of related work experience in Catering and/or Convention Services. Must be able to work long and irregular hours, at times, in excess of 40 hours per week. Must be proficient with using a computer and utilize various software, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
